Update: Vortex Keyword-Based URLs

We have updated Vortex to now have the ability for customized page URLs. This feature can be used to create easy to remember URLs and for additional search engine optimization.

For example, if you have a page about “lady bugs” you can choose to have “Automatic” URLs which will look like:

http://www.yourdomain.com/index.php?pageid=5

Or you can choose to have “Custom” URLs which can be anything such as:

http://www.yourdomain.com/lady-bugs
or
http://www.yourdomain.com/insects/lady-bugs
or
http://www.yourdomain.com/lady-bugs-faq.html

Either URL option will be fully spidered by the search engines. Custom URLs can be easily implemented for every page on your website. This feature has been added to Vortex CMS at no extra charge.
